Provo, Turks and Caicos islands

After several months of improvements and preparation, the Wireless Internet System at Club Med Turquoise in the Turks and Caicos Islands is done.

Says John Lawson, Director of Sales for Island Internet Hot-Spot; "Our goal was to procure, install and test a state-of-the-art wireless Internet system before the start of the busy tourist season. I am very proud to say that we did it!".

The Wireless System at Club Med uses some of the most powerful commercial gear available. Nowadays tourists and guests expect far more than an "off the shelf" solution. Tim Barker, one of the systems technical designers adds; "Users expect a fast, easy solution. It has to be commercial grade not a cheap access point on the wall."

Get Them While They’re Hot!

Imagine a potential client who is here on the island looking for something to do. Hundreds of tourists visit our Internet Access Equipment every day. They follow the free links that catch their eye. They are looking for places to shop, places to eat, tours to go on, real estate to buy, etc, etc.

Once they spot an advertisement that interests them, they simply click on it and they are transported to your website or a special page detailing your offering. Our system tracks the number of people who saw your advertisement and the number of people who clicked on it to get more information.

All banners are on a random rotation in terms of position and frequency. All banners are viewed equally.

The Banners will be part of a rotating system that will allow each banner to be presented a number of times. Different banners will be capable of being presented in one of three modes;

  • Regular (Viewed an average of 4 times per day)
  • Frequent (Viewed an average of 8 times per day)
  • Constant (Viewed every time by every user)
